Music people. Technology people. Our kind of people.
Four different parts. One very good reason to turn it up.
We love music. We love making things. Freo is where those two habits got a little out of hand—in the best possible way.

The unexpected origin of a radio platform
Apparently that was how you start building radio software.
3andBeats began on a commercial provider. We loved making radio, but running three channels at commercial-service prices wasn’t workable for us. And the management tools didn’t fit the station we wanted to run.
We all love music. We all love technology. So we decided to make our own.
The basics worked. Then came the familiar question:
“What if it could also…?”
A music library became programming tools. Programming became a studio. Once we had the basics, we realized that a little more work could give us a complete radio station management system.
So here it is.
Freo is something we wanted to use ourselves, made by people who care about what happens on both sides of the speakers. Your music deserves a home that feels like yours.
A familiar habit of building useful things
Different tools. The same care for the people using them.
At 3andB, our team makes practical educational resources. Freo grew from that same instinct: understand what’s missing, get the details right, and make something people can actually use.
